swampy willow

Recreation area "the Twiske" is situated north of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) The surface of 650 hectares exists for one third of water. With one big lake and a surrounding of wetlands,swamps and canals.

Favorite place for lots of waterbirds and meadowland birds.
To bad my camera is not sophisticated enough to make sharp close ups from these birds. Although this photos are giving a pretty good image of the area.
